Just ordered the red fiber cloth covered ignition wires, and my buddy is getting me the champion plugs. Next week i am getting a full tranny and rear flush and service done. What fluids do you guys recommend i use for them?

I just did the same, but if your all the way in there you may as well do the coil packs. I ordered them after thinking about it.

While the intake is off, might be worth cleaning out all the oil in there too.

I was going to, but a little tight on cash, and read a lot of posts saying how good our stock ones are.

Don't forget to take off the factory metal spark plug covers and put on Viper spark plug boot/wire protectors.

Just put them on too with the coils and red boots, real quality stuff for sure, do your self a favor and get new intake gaskets ahead of time. When I removed mine they looked like crap and the plastic tabs that hold them in place broke off too. $50 well spent.

I'm still running my stock coils going on 125k miles now. My plug wires fell apart last summer so I replaced with the JTSVP which do a fine job, no complaints and look a little nicer than stock plug wires. But left coils alone.

i had a coil fry at about 50k miles so i have both coils and wires no issues with the upgraded coils :)

Those are the ones I just installed with the wires, boots and NGK plugs, so far so good........

I just did them for piece of mind, had the intake off anyway and $165 is well worth having to remove it again if a coil with 70,000 miles or 9 years old decides to go in the near future and If I gain anything thats just a bonus....just my .02

In other words do you or do you not gain 5 RWHP for 165 of your hard earned dollars?

Hmmmm?

Stock coils are awesome.
Spend your money elsewhere.
