Finally got around to swapping out the trany fluid on my '05 RC. I followed the thread in the DIY section. Thanks to Stinker for all his help, having the patience to put up with all my questions, useful tips, and posting some pics for jack location etc. NBT for posting T-56 service manual, sec 6 lists capacity at 4.1 qts. Mine took 4qts. I decided to go with the Redline D4. Wifey and Stinker for suggesting fluid transfer pump. This job cannot be done without it! Kevan thanks for the pic of the pump, I knew exactly what to look for at my Pep Boys store. Test drove for about 5 miles only because if there was a leak, I wanted to find it right away. No leaks, smooth positive shifts, and no noise/rattle at all! I only have about 1,950 mi on the truck now. I will share any new developments or observations. I may have overtorqued the plugs just a bit as the manual claims 20 ft lbs. (found this info AFTER I put plugs back in.) SO thanks again! I would have never tried this without your help. :)

This is a special place! And yes, I love it when things go well. It takes some courage to try things on your own, especially with a vehicle like this. I wanted to express my appreciation to the group.
