just got done rigging up my air intake from the front grill

the volant ram air intake has a hole on the front side facing the grill...i utilized and it works great lol...the duct is 4x11

if the dyno could simulate driving i would love to but they dont....and i know they have a fan on it but have you ever stood up in the back of a truck when youre doing 40mph+ bout knocks u down so i dont see how it would show the true numbers on the increase in power

took her for a drive today and now im not running rich. rpms drop immediately after letting off can tell a difference in throttle response. and noticable power increase oh and shes running bout 20 degrees cooler oh yea

Do you mind posting a pic of your mod with the hood up? I'm think about getting rid of the intake tube going to the hood on my volant CAI and might just run a hose to the grille like you did.

Great idea, more pics would be great, I would try taking the scoop out from the hood, that hole in scoop was designed to take heat out of the engine bay.

the filter placement is at the top of the box...but with any ram air setup driving in rainy conditions is not reccomended
