Does anyone have one of these? If so, how well does it work?
I see that all it does is send an IR signal to the radio, pretty clever actually.

Roz-SRT said:I had one in my T/A. Worked great, just don't obstruct the IR path. What's cool is you can program the buttons to do something other than intended. . . (stereo related only) Meaning, pause, fast-forward, on/off. I had it on an alpine unit also Scott.
ntw0rk said:Nice! Thanks!
When you say the "IR Path" do you have to mount that little IR sender somewhere pointed at the unit?
Roz-SRT said:Exactly. In the TA, everything is mounted low. It has hard to find a spot where something wasn't in the way. I managed though.
ntw0rk said:This worries me because the unit I have has a very small IR receiver, and even with the remote, if you are not pointed in the right spot, it doesn't work.
Hmmm....I'll have to consider this....

Your comments will get you bright wheels back and you will have to start cleaning the inside of the wheels again...oh, never mind, you never did that anyway...![]()
Prof said:Just discovered the buttons on the back side of the steering wheel...duh.......
Anyone else not know they were there? Anything else I should know about this truck?

I wouldn't trust it Annu. I have went as low as 30 miles on the cummins and that should be good for 1.5 gallons or so. But the gauge was showing bone dry. Plus I think the fuel pump is located inside the tank and it is not a good idea to go below 1/4 tank or so. The fuel recirculates and helps keep the pump from ending prematurely.Annu Kumar said:Hey Any of you Quad Guys Is the Is "DTE" (distance to empty) Accurate. when it says about 50 miles I usually go fill up.
