What you haven't found that button yet? You moron.:D

LOL at you and Roz....

Scott, 1 mile DTE???

That's brave...

I remember riding in Patrick's RC, the light coming on, his DTE reading 14 miles, and his comment, "crap, I'm about to run out of gas again"

:D

I quickly looked through the manual when I found the buttons, but did not find anything, did I miss it or did DC forget to include the buttons in the manual?

The steering wheel button instructions are located in a seperate book (blue) dedicated to the radio system. I luv mine. Hardly ever reach for the radio anymore.

That is no joke! Last night coming back from West VA my light came on and the dte said 16 miles, 2 miles later it said 8 miles  . It dropped a lot quicker than I ever expected and I was just cruising at about 70mph. Scared the crap out of me, I was thinking how bad it would be to run out of gas within the first 2 hours of ownership!

So happy to know that you have a new one.

Gone are the days when a dealer sent you off with a hand shake and a full tank of gas...

Ohhh, and for those of you that have meth injection from Roe Racing...do you know that there is a button to push to test your injection system...? Disconnect from the intake, point it away from the truck and push the button...see if the meth/water flows...

Here is mine:

I was not told about this!

I am gonna go play with it now! be back in an hour!!:p

had no idea what dte stood for till i read the manuel-----found out that i had six miles to empty and about 10 miles to the nearest gas station----it read zero and i was still driving----i made it and put in a bit over 24 gallons ---so they are close but not exact---and im glad for the way mine worked ---

The DTE on the red truck is just about spot on. When I brought it into CA I had to get it weighed as every PU truck is registered commercial. It needed to be under 5000 lbs to save a few bucks in weight fees. I weighed it as it normally is and it was 5100 lbs with 3/4 tank. I took out the spare and everything lose (jack & tools, ect) that would come out. Let it run down to fumes and it weighed 4900 on the nose. The DTE had said 0 for about 6-8 miles. I drove it about a mile to a Chevron and put in 26.8 gallons.

The Silver truck when it was new ran out going up a hill when the DTE said 11 miles to go.

As has been said earlier, don't run your tank down past 1/8 for many reasons.
The pump will not like it, and you could be walking.............

coming back from your house got the DTE to 9 and put in 25.4 gallons...sounds pretty accurate....

Dont know very much. As a matter of fact it can fit on the head of a pin with plenty of room so I dont have to worry about rolling of the side:D :D

I had my 04 R/C Hemi truck for nearly a year before I found the lower storage compartment in the center console.
