just installed t-stat and x metal TB ????'s

Small issues w/ installed t-stat and x metal TB

:dontknow: 1st on the throttle body it seems to surge and take a while to get back down to idle-i read and did this install very carefully- it is not binding and should work great but it takes forever to return back to idle- it kinda hangs out at the higher rpm then bumps its way back down to 750 or so. does the tps need adjustment???
next the t-stat
bled the system a bunch but the resivior is still full- its not sucking down?

besides some hiccups which i think has to do with the computer learning- this is a great MOD. Gary has been great with question answering and tech support.

well.. i take it you saw my DIY? also did you disconnect the neg. cable from the battery when you installed all this? :dontknow:

YES I SAW IT- BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE PRETTY GOOD FROM GARY- YOUR PIC'S WERE HELPFULL FOR SURE. THE T-STAT WAS A BREEZE- I HAD A COUPLE SPECIALITY TOOLS AND WAS CAKE.

that's good to hear man.. i think the surging was fixed with a new TPS sensor :dontknow:
i know others had the same problem but i'm pretty sure that's how they fixed it..
i think in one rare case the vacum tube that connects into the bottom of the TB
wasn't connected : \

as far as the t-stat goes im not sure... i just went head first and pulled the hose.

make sure you open the bleeder on top of the t-stat housing, and do it with the radiator cap off, the truck running, and the heater set to hot and full blast. do this until i quits burping air, you may do it several times to get most of the air out
