Just wow....

Jeff Kehoe,
There is NO need to try and insult/attack Kevan, none at all, especially if you can't voice your opinion on this in a mature matter, maybe you should go play some solitare on your PC. I do hate the typical new england attitude.

Kevan has done so much for this forum it makes me proud to know him.

let me ask you this, do you own a Mac? Because if you do not how can you compare the two products? Has anything Kevan said been false? I remember spending 10+ hours trying to update into sp2 ....

Michael

Thanks for the backup, Michael...but it's cool. I'm used to the lashing out from users of other platforms. It comes with the territory.
What makes up for it is when I hear from PC users after they get their first Mac: "Holy sh!t! I can't believe I used that other thing for so long!". It never gets old. :)

On the flip side, I wouldn't be an SRT-10 owner if it weren't for PC's:
- The server that my work website is hosted on is a PC.
- Most of my CAD software is PC-based.
- Most of my work emails are done with the PC.
Everything else I do, including all the online stuff, is done with my Mac.

Another way to think:
If it weren't for PC's, Macs wouldn't look so damn good. :D

Oh, and I have no desire for an L.

I'll challenge that Kevan, I'll even be unbiased. Just gotta find me a mac somewhere.

While on this computer subject, anyone need a crapload of computer parts and mods?

Yep. :D

My former Mac, a G3, was powered on and running (online 24 hrs. a day) for 7 YEARS straight.
Never locked up once.

Don't bother trying that with a PC. It simply won't happen.

I had a few MS applications fail, but the Mac NEVER went down.
Ever.
someday, you have to come over and load all my stuff into a mac and show me how to run it, and i will do some performance stuff for ya

I love my Mac.

Had a PC for years. I was one of the guys always dropping bombs on the stupid MAC guys for tolerating poor hardware. But a few years ago I bought a laptop MAC. I was sold. So when I replaced my desktop a year ago I bought a MAC with intel inside. I now can load either MAC OS X or Windows on boot up. But I rarely use my windows, but it is all choice. And I do not believe my choice makes me better or WORSE.

That being said, I would never add that abomination to my crapper.
