K&N intake

So I've had this "brilliant" idea to sand and paint my K&N intake tube....now I'm not sure I like it....
...For some reason it looks like a big colon to me...

I see what you mean about it looking like a colon. I just think there is too much silver. Try adding some black to the intake. Maybe the viper logo or viper word or something in black.

Thanks, yeah, a lot of sanding first and two coats of fill-in primer. It has to be redone though...in some areas I see some crackles in the paint.

Looks good and I agree with adding some kind of logo to break up all the silver.
