I have this set up in my truck right now but want to go louder.. ☺
The sub is kicker cwrt101 shallow mount 600 rms 1200 peak watts 1ohm dual voice coils. Asking $140 shipped.

The amp is a old school rockford fosgate punch series 100.2 very under rated asking $150 shipped.

How hard was it to wire into our stock sub/amp? Or does it? I lost my sub for the 3rd time and considering a small upgrade.

There is a converter you can install that gives factory head units RCA capability.

Sweet, I'm outdated as far as stereo systems but I like some bass with my music. 25 years ago we started building boxes and putting home speakers in cars. Then manufacturers caught on and made 4 ohm speakers and amps. Now dual voice coils and 1 ohm stable amps exist! Just wow

Does it make sense I could use the line out converter and simply use the pos/neg signal wires to sub and obvious power, ground, remote and it's that easy? I've used those many times before but I'm afraid of it interfering with the stock mid/high amp working like I've heard? Any advice is appreciated guys.
