Killed new 5.0

First off I got the truck up and running last night in hopes to go to the track today. But they ended up canceling it due to rain last night.

I swapped back to my street tires to go wash the truck and when I was pulling out of my apartment a new 5.0 went by. Naturally I opened my bottle and started to run him down. We got off an exit and there was a straight stretch of 2 mile road. We agreed on a roll from 50 so I put it in 3rd to hope I would get some traction. Right off the hit it hooked alright but once I got up in the rpms it was going sideways at 80 so I had to back out of it.looked back in my mirror and the guy was at least 5 cars back.:burnout:

Dont feel bad. I've went a couple times this year and it was rained out. I wish my work scheduled allowed me more track time.
