I know that soudns impossible, but I want to give props to one of the reporters on CNN. (Didn't catch her name)
She is reporting on the fires in California, and the anchor asked her what the big difference was between the response we are seeing in Ca. vs. what happened in La.
She replied, "The difference is Leadership!" From the governor to the mayor and right down the line. We are seeing the leadership out here and making a difference. In New Orleans there were times when you didn't know where the mayor was, and the governor too." she goes on, "The response here was so much better because of the leadership. We have all kinds of people here from low income to high, all races and walks of life, the difference is leadership."
This is refreshing because I have seen other stories where people are questioning the response saying that it is better because the people in the area are rich white people. That is ludicrous!! the difference is that the state was better prepared, and acted accordingly. That never happened in La.
So, Kudos to CNN!!
