l.a.c.r.

i have hundreds of runs at lacr and several other tracks and I can surely say that the track was shit that night. the lightning was running even slower than brad and me! his times were 14.9's!

usually with my stage 2 I can floor it off the line and not get any tirespin at all, and pull a 2.0 60'. i think 2.5 or 2.6 was my average 60' this time. my fastest run was 14.2@108. usually I run 13.8@100 with my stage 2.

wont we be in bakersfield next friday?

We sure will. I was having nightmares of those horrible times. So the next Friday following Bakersfield will be the next time for me at LACR. The track might suck but you can put in a lot of runs because there are hardly any people there to race.

The magic # for rear tire pressure with the Pirellis is 22 lbs.

I spent time at Carlsbad (worst track prep = none after oil downs) and 22 lbs got the best contact patch and 60' times.
The best 60' time I had was 2.20, at Bakersfield I pulled 1.90's on
Pirelli's'

Anything less than 22 lbs the center tread did not contact well, as the tire is bowing.

thanks for the tip jack! although hopefullyt at bakersfield I'll get to borrow robert's meats for my NOS runs!

Ahh I see, thanks. Why do they suck big time?? :dontknow:

they, meaning the faculty, dont prepare the track for optimum performance, if at all.....thus you get horrible, horrible 60' times.......
