Last Famosa Test and Tune Night This Year. Aug 24 07

Hey Mike I don't trust your weather report. As an example I can leave the house at 7pm and my truck reads 102 degrees and by 7:20 and 20 miles later at Famoso out among the irrigated fields it reads 84 degrees. I guarantee it will be in the 70's by 9-9:30 plenty of time for 2 runs with a nice cool down. That last run at about 11:15-11:30 it will be nice and cool. I just hope the starting line is decent!!!

We arrived at 8:30 pm and left after 1am the next morning. We were able to get in two runs only. That place was packed. I would estimate over 500 racers for sure.

The temps were in the mid 80's until the last run at 1 am when it was 75.

I talked to the track director about why this was the last Test and Tune night this year. He stated that it was just not profitable for them but are considering another Test and Tune night in about 2 weeks due to this huge last turnout.
