man i dont wanta knock anybodys product..but...i went and had my cats removed for 25bucks..and every 10 i ride in with catless mind i cant tell a diffrence......of corse i live in a small country town where we still cut cats off and pass inspection lol

I live in South Carolina, We Have No Inspections whatsoever.... The Noise or Pollution is No concern of Mine or my Home State. Having said that, I have been to EVERy muffler shop in town looking to Have my Cats removed. And here are the excuses i get.

The first guy, Said it was against the law for him to remove them, I said OK. How about i Cut them off myself at home, Without removing the mid-pipes, Then bring the truck to you, Can you weld me Pipes, where my Alleged Catalytic converters Supposedly USED to Be???

And still he said no. What the Hell???

The only thing i can think to do, Is remove my mid-pipes, Find a Welder in town willing to Fab strait pipes, where my CATs used to be, And that seems like just as much work as paying For new mid-pipes....

I have someone Giving me a Great Deal, On a set of Cattless mids for a QC, How much work will it be to convert them to fit an RC.. I know somebody said that you would need to cut some Pipe off. But do you only need to cut a Part that is a section of Strait pipe. Or do you need to shorten a Part that has a curve in it??? Im sure somebody on here knows, Help me out here.

Come up to Charlotte on a Saturday, I know some boys with a lift and a welder that may ask you what a catalytic converter is and why are there black helicopters over the building:rock: .
All of my vehicles have new "catalytic converters";) from these guys.

Very easy to make them fit.Just shorten the straight section.Don't forget the mechanical or electronic sims.

Much cheaper when you find a shop to just remove them, however, there may come a day when you might need the stock mids.Just a thought.

The cheapest place to get catless mids is your local muffler/welding shop. Have Bubba cut your cats out and replace them with 2.5 dia. piping.

Other than a chop and weld, the cheapest ones will be a used pair off of this site...........so be patient and somebody will be selling eventually. Have you tried any race shops, they tend to be more aggresive about HP and care less about the black choppers overhead!!! LOL

Its not too often,You can put the words cheap and SRT in the same sentence!!:D

QC mids and RC mids are the same except for a 20" section. The QC has this extension that attaches to the mid and muffler. Unless the mids you are getting are custom, they were attached to the extension. The extension is not a straight pipe. One is, but the other has a offset hump for clearance. In the end it is really easy to cut to length and make up the joint.

Perfect. 100% what i was looking for, From what i hear, I think im going to Buy the Mids off the guy who has them for his QC. Then adjust them to fit...

Thanks Dudes.
