I'd think w/ all this new rubber and cal tracs cutting at least a 1.8 every time should be easy right?..........WRONG!!!
There has to be a different technique I'm not doing at the launch as I'm used to running on a tire w/ less traction.
I'm still in the 2.0 to 1.9 range. Last night I was launching at 5,300 rpm and the truck was hooking but bogging below 3,000 rpm for a sec right after the clutch grabbed. I'm thinking I either need to try ditching the toneau and/or tail gate.....or.....get into the gas harder right as i'm letting out the clutch Keep in mind I can't floor it until after 3,000 rpm cause the nos comes on at WOT.
How do I stop this bog?
Launch at Redline?
