Has Left the Room - Banned from VTCOA!
A few months ago I changed to oil cooler lines and put on a new Mobil 1 filter and new oil. About a month later I noticed the filter was leaking. The only place open was AutoZone and I bought a K & N and put it on. Figuring that when the oil was due, changing to a Mopar filter.
I got back this afternoon from a 70 mile round trip and noticed oil under the truck in the garage.
Now the K & N sprung a leak.
Checker was open and was able to get a Mopar filter. Changed the oil while I was at it.
By the dash gauge the oil pressure seems normal for this engine. 50 lbs at idle and 75 to a little over when driving.
I'd like to blow this off as 2 crappy filters...but wondering.
