:D HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.... He might see a lot of progress on a santeen hundred buck budget. Or, he could come to PCB and spend it on beers for all the less than santeen of the members that will show.:laugh:
 
wasnt sure if anyone was interested or not but i decided to take a few in progress shots of the pinto...

the new roll cage setup i built the old one would only certify to 9.00 in the 1/4...now it will certify to 7.50

here is the motor i have been building for it...its a 490ci bbc that will hopefully make 780+ hp

My first car was a basket case nonrunning 67 Mustange...all I could afford. Had lots of hopes and dreams for that car but reality was a different matter. Ended up buying a 71 Pinto 'Runabout' in the interim. Took a few months but figured out the Pinto 4sp would accept the Mustang 289ci. Took a weekend to make the conversion....whoohoo! Lots of fun! Drove it my junior year in HS. For senior year I lucked out and found a 71 Cutlass Supreme with a W30 package. God I was an idiot to sell that one a few years later...:mad:

btw..gave the Pinto to my lil sister who loved the V8 and 3rd gear smokies!
