I did just because made movement of rear end easier to place the pin in block in to rearend houseing thats all. You are correct though. I also did it on a lift so no jack was needed either for me.

Wish I had a Lift. Would have made life so much easier literally 1000 times. I'm looking to buy a house with my fiancée right now and what I want is a place with a 3 car garage and an RV garage. I think that would be the ideal place to have my shop. Can have a lift, all the ceiling room in the world and tons of space.

Hard to find though...

I installed my leveling blocks in the garage without a lift also. It's doable but a lot easier with a lift.
