next time you need one, call me...i don't do that veneer crap...it's a copout, imo...and if you paid good money...it shouldn't be there...Prof said:For the price we paid for that custom made cabinet, I was a little surprised to see the veneer...

Had them both replaced under warranty after going through the hastle of taking them in to a distributor. Both replacements died within two years.

Prof said:I just bought a new television manufactured by LG Electronics...
Does anyone have experience with LG Televisions?
The one I purchased is a 55 inch plasma flat screen that was rated as the best by Consumer Reports...
Just wondering what I am getting into...
By the way...I met a creative sales person in the process...the TV is about 36 inches high with the normal pedestal...and it won't stand without the pedestal...my cabinet opening is only 35.25 tall...
The first salesman said "Sorry, it won't fit."
The second salesman said "Ok, delete the pedestal and mount the tv on a telescoping arm attached to the wall behind the Media cabinet and cut a small hole in the back of the cabinet to allow the arm to extend into the cabinet!!!
The second sales man was a problem solver and sold the concept! The first sales person is probably going to fail at his job.
Well, well, well, a fan of the ballet, are we?:dontknow: (although I have never heard of position #2, I have heard it called "second position")Prof said:She is a dancer....I will enjoy the view from position #2!
