Took my truck into the dealer to get the front end looked at after being ran off the road by a garbage truck, been having the blinker issue so mentioned the TSB and had it replaced at the same time. Showed up desk guy was awesome, took my keys and to the waiting room I went. Stepped outside for some fresh air at the same time the tech came to grab my truck. Guy didn't know it was mine but as he was getting in says to himself, "those are leather and suede SRT seats, better cover them up." Guy went into the garage came back with 2 plastic bags drapped one around the back and sat on the other. Very, very impressed at this point. Guy kept sticking his head in the room making sure I was still good. I got up walked around the lot really so I could check in on the engine bay. Checked out a sweet little Crossfire. Went back in and I saw my truck pull out..... and then leave the lot.... I jumped up and asked "Where is he going", desk guy says "Checking to make sure she's lined up correctly, it's normal don't worry" comes back a few minutes later. Pay with the nice, nice clerk. Jump in the truck, fire her up, check the miles, he only put 3 miles on it not bad, check the MPG it is still 12.6, jump on the road and wow, the truck literally has never ridden this straight while I've owned it.

Best alignment and customer service I've ever had and the price.... only $70 before tax for an alignment! I tell you what they just won me over as a customer, these guys are awesome! Champion Dodge down in Gulfport, MS. If your close I would try it out!

Ditto, you only hear bad service stories, most dealers have good employees.

Maybe I'll drive down from Seattle and have my alignment done there too..might cost be 2K in gas but what the hell..least it'll run straight.;)

Huh…thats weird because some dude just posted a video of himself drifting a red 06 quad cab around a corner…says the video was posted from Gulfport, MS. I guess he was checking the HELL out of that alignment :chain:

Saw that video too, the guy was laughing to himself the whole time sayin..."and the dude that owns this beast will never know!!!"

Man, that is great. Wheels and Deals in Shreveport, LA is NOT that kind of dealer. Worse thing about him is he is selling to our GI's that can hardly afford his kind of shyster double dealing. Located right at the entrance to the military base in Shreveport he has a captive market of guys that need support rather than a raw deal.

Really refreshing to find an honest dealer and you should give him any business you can and referrals. Like our vendors here on the site, good people deserve our support.

Thats too bad. If you have a chance you might wanna get the word out on his a$$ to that base. You know some poor little E3 is gonna go in there and get screwed.
Sorry, prior Navy, 10 years, gotta look out for my guys.

haha, I can see it now. Dude I just made E3! Im gonna go buy a car! Goes and buys a 2002 Chevy Cavalier with a fart can muffler and a hundred thousand miles for the LOW LOW price of 18 thousand. I see that shit happening all the time man, people literally robbing military guys like that. No amount of briefings and counseling statements in the world will keep a young, dumb Military newbie from getting a ridiculous tattoo and a shitty new/used car.

Around here the bad dealers will get black listed in a heartbeat. No military will go there after that.

You guys suck haha :burnout:

$70 for a front end alignment is fair.

It's the cheapest I've had living down here, before that it was the first alignment I ever had $95 for my ol' T-Bird

I think every base has one, here it is the dirt bag Holmes Motors. Charging 20-40% APR for military. One horror story that made the paper was a young woman back in '09 or '10 that had bot a '01 Sebring Convertible and had she paid every payment on time for the total amount of the loan it was over 60k

Take advantage of kids who have a hole burning in their pockets, what do you expect from a used cars salesman haha

Funny you mention that, I was watching the news where they said they had new info on his burial somewhere in MI... I still think he's buried under Giants Stadium

Don't worry old Jimmy is still buried or fish food somewhere..sounds like exactly where they should put some of these crooked car dealers too, especially ripping off military personal.

Back when I had my SS oil lines put in, I took my truck to a big Dodge dealer in Tampa since they had a Viper tech. I pulled into the drop-off line and checked in with the service guy and then the Viper tech came around to grab the truck and pull it in to his bench area. A few minutes later he comes and gets me and takes me out to the work area and then tells me that as he was pulling into the garage my radiator hose clamp came apart and of course dumped fluid everywhere. Thankfully it happened right as he got it to his work area so he shut off engine immediately. He ended up replacing the hose and clamp and doing a full radiator flush and refill for me for free and went ahead and checked all my other hoses and clamps. If I had driven literally another few seconds or minute or so that would have happened and I would have been on the hook for getting the issue fixed. I wish that dealership was up here in Clarksville or at least that tech.
