I will be getting my rig back this week hopefully.
but as you all know my truck is like black as Sh*t and I need to get my hands on some install instructions so I can put that bad boy on. Also I know that a couple of you have them on. If you can point out any details or hints to make this transaction smooth I would appreciate it. Plus I do not want the cops saying shit about my truck. I will have to cut them. Plus, i spoke with Tony last night regarding purchasing one. So anything you got would be helpful

damn bo, didnt know that was you:p you know I hate texting:argh: :D

but they mount right under the tailgate above the bumper in the little area there.
Plug & play installation – Plugs directly into a standard flat 4-pin trailer light connector
the one xtra wire for the reverse lights you splice into the wire for the backup lights comming from the tailights, I think....... I think it was white/green tracer?

Man, I got shaking hands. okay, once I get home I am going to order it and then I will post some pictures in the do it yourself

Yep. They're plug and play.

I disabled the "running" feature on mine. I have mine mounted under the spoiler and it's used only as third-brake-light and for the turn signals.

god dam it i knew i should of came i just put mine on the truck its easy A 2 year old can do it

position it first (with the tailgate on) to center it and make some grease pencil marks. then remove the tailgate to install.....do you know how to remove the tailgate?:dontknow: :D

make sure you dont mount it too low. that way the bumper cover doesnt cover it up.

OKay a grease pencil. got it.

not to high but not to low, damn it, it can never be easy

When I installed mine I took the 3 small mounting tabs that came with it off, and replaced it with some new longer 3m tape. This way it won't fall off, for my own piece of mind.

the easiest mod to install..... :)
if you put it under the tailgate, make sure it's low enough so it doesn't hit when opening it.....

taking the three plastic tabs off and putting longer 3m tape on stops it from hitting also, and stays better.
