Ok guys whats the best bang for your buck long tube headers. Which ones have given the most power, reliability, and easy install.

Ohhhhh, this is a can of worms. I don't know which ones give the best results but Monday I am having B&B long tubes and full exhaust with high flow cats installed. I am planning on doing a before and after dyno though. Keep in mind there can be a base gain but when you get mods working in together there can be more benefit.

i love my set-up... mopar long tubes, and mopar pcm with k&n 515rwhp on a dynojet.... or 492 rwhp on a mustang dyno... i would highly recommend the mopar headers. dragon also has the mopar headers.. .maybe he'll chime in

Really like them...I had no idea which to get, Roe Racing recommended them as I was awaiting the final development of top mount twin screw...I did not get them coated, but plan to pull them this winter, strip the wrap and get them coated.

The sound is wonderful...

Prof, I just got mine back from Jet Hot and they did a really good job. Just FYI.

From all the good comments I think Jet Hot will be my choice too.

best bang for your buck and headers.....bwwahahahahahaha....hehehehehe

:D :D :D :D best bang for you buck is Boomers catless mids or JMB Justins catless mids.......cost about $450, spend the difference on a flashed pcm upgrade and still have change for several trips to the gas station!

My personal opinion is that the cost and difficulty of installation at home (not for the faint hearted) weighed against performance gains, makes it not worthwhile.

But they do look nice...

Just be sure to get ceramic coated. The heat level under the hood is greatly reduced.

And headers ARE NOT hard to install. I have done 2 sets in my home garage and they are a peice of cake. I can do a set unassisted and with basic tools in under 3 hours.;)

as far as long tube headers are the best, are shorties crap?
Lots of opinions on this as well. My opinion is that long tubes are better. Trucks with long tubes seem to make better hp#s and a better torque curve but it's all in the eye of the owner. Get which ever appeals the most to you.

You get what you pay for.......

Going the cheap route with a performance vehicle is just asking for trouble most of the time...
