Sorry about the crappy pics all I had was a cell phone and he was about 25-30 yards away...I've never seen a bald eagle in Arkansas before and certainly never that close. Damn they are BIG!!!

These birds are one of the reasons I want to spend a few weeks in Alaska in the future.
Hilgee said:You don't have to go that far. Up around Sauk City, Wisconsin they get about 20 - 30 birds every winter. The water below the dam never freezes and it is pretty shallow and the eagles are there for about 5 weeks to feed.

My wife went a couple years ago and she has pictures of them somewhere. They were like god damn sea gulls. They were everywhere.
