Looking for seat info....

Hey Guys (and Gals!)

New around these here neck of the woods!

I am looking for a center console for my Ram project truck but I am unsure of what color stitching and all were available; so I am looking for an education.

I am working on a 1980 Ram 4 door and the interior is done to SRT standards! Pieces so far are out of a 300, a Magnum, a Charger, and now I find myself in need of a SRT Ram part! The seats in my truck are from the Charger and Magnum and both have black with red stitching. Issue is the 300 center console is too narrow. So I need a wider console. AKA, Ram!

Did any of the SRT Rams ever come with red stitching on the center arm rest fold down console, or were they all black? I remember seeing yellow at one point but I do not know if it was custom or not.

Also, are the SRT console specific to the SRT or would a regular say, 2500 Ram one work? Are colors the same? I know SRT tends to be specific on things.

Figured if I wanted to learn about SRT Rams, may as well go to the source at VTCOA!

First off, welcome fine sir! Just for clarification, are you asking for the jump seat/center console found in the '04 and 05s or the center console found in the '06s. I think the jump seat but not 100%

No in the 04,05s they all came black as far as I know, the Yellow Fever's may have but I've never actually seen the seats out of one so maybe a YF owner can chime in

They are all the same, just rewrapped in Leather for SRT. I think the center consoles are the only parts of the seats that share with the non-SRTs. The '06 has the same center console but has a CF design to give it a race-look.

Welcome! Yes. Yellow Fever came with yellow stitching.

i'm pretty sure the CE's came with blue stichin. everything else has the dark grey/black stitchin

been several members do their stitchin in red with a laundry marker. looked good

Yes. I'm sorry. I am talking about the center flip down console buddy seat on a 40/20/40 seat.


Now you have me thinking. I cannot picture the difference between a 05 and 06 center. Anyone have pics of what you speak of?

Completely different beast on the inside, some loved the changed, some hated it.... I for one was on the fence until I saw it in person and loved it so much I changed from wanting a '05 to dying for a '06.

Whats a reasonable price for one of these? I am thinking of hitting up some bone yards to see who has one but whats fair for a good condition one?
