This is an interesting thread...
There is a huge conundrum when it comes to the present and future value of our trucks. Some enjoy the process of keeping the mileage as low as possible in hopes that the future value will be enhanced; others just love the idea of possessing a low mileage vehicle and may never consider selling it. On the other hand there are those who take every opportunity to get in the cab and drive regardless of the miles on the odometer.
There are also those of us that really don't care about future value or miles driven...we only drive in conditions that will minimize the adverse impact on the appearance. We do whatever is necessary to drive only in good weather, on paved surfaces, avoid those days that pollen is floating around, or the wind is kicking up too much dust.
Then of course there are the performance enthusiasts...no such thing as too much horsepower...or those of us that concur with Bills' phrase, but could careless about ever racing our huge horsepower monsters...
Multiple motivations to possess this wonderfully fulfilling hunk of iron...
