Came back from town today and a aluminium scaffold beam flew off a painters van in front of me. It bounced off the road and went straight into the hyundai excell going the other way!!!

The girl walked away from the car with a few cuts from the broken glass but was otherwise unmarked!!

I have never seen someone so lucky!!

Toilets dont fill up here so they dont spin when you flush them, no one drinks fosters - its horse piss, everyone does say gday mate - thats true blue, its bad azz because they all are!!

There have been a couple people severly injured or killed the last couple years in Washington due to this. They passed a law that all loads must be secured.

DOT has strict laws governing this!! Problem is, they don't enforce it!!

I am sure you have alot of Logging trucks over on the West coast, over here these guys get away with shit you wouldn't believe!!

yea.. I hear you on this one... same here in AZ, all loads must be secured, and covered. But you still see dweebs (mostly illeagals are my guess) that dont care to tie down their loads... I saw one pickup on the freeway that has crap stacked over 5 foot above the roof of the pickup in the bed... and only tied down by a few wimpy nylon ropes... then later on.. I saw that same pickup tipped over along the side of the road with all its crap spread across the road and in the ditches...
