Another update :
They have the truck for 36 hours now and have came to the conclusion that the tranny fluid is burnt, to the point they called it black. Thay tried to have me authroize them to remove the tranny for 550$, which he said the "might" cover if it comes out to be a warranty issue. After a not being able to get ahold of my case rep. I talked to the service manager and told im to fax me a writen price wuote for the removal and inspection of the transmition, NOT incluiding what it would cost to put it back. 350$ was the number (I HAVE YET TO GET A COPY OF THE EST.) He kept say "well this is only if it's not going to be covered". BLAH BLAH BLAH. I contacted a lawer and have him on the back burner for when they claim it's not going to be covered, he said he has an expert tranny guy that will inspect the trans. and that it would be next to impossible for them to prove that any thing other than there own workmanship caused this.. Thats all about that side of it.
On a side note, we had 6 trucks on order that we are not going to accept deliver on until this issue is resolved. Not to mention the next 3 that we are waiting to order... Our fleet salesman has been out of town so I bet he will be realy happy to hear that his service department has cost him 140,000$+ sale.
