 WHAT DO I DO NOW?

Another update :
They have the truck for 36 hours now and have came to the conclusion that the tranny fluid is burnt, to the point they called it black. Thay tried to have me authroize them to remove the tranny for 550$, which he said the "might" cover if it comes out to be a warranty issue. After a not being able to get ahold of my case rep. I talked to the service manager and told im to fax me a writen price wuote for the removal and inspection of the transmition, NOT incluiding what it would cost to put it back. 350$ was the number (I HAVE YET TO GET A COPY OF THE EST.) He kept say "well this is only if it's not going to be covered". BLAH BLAH BLAH. I contacted a lawer and have him on the back burner for when they claim it's not going to be covered, he said he has an expert tranny guy that will inspect the trans. and that it would be next to impossible for them to prove that any thing other than there own workmanship caused this.. Thats all about that side of it.

On a side note, we had 6 trucks on order that we are not going to accept deliver on until this issue is resolved. Not to mention the next 3 that we are waiting to order... Our fleet salesman has been out of town so I bet he will be realy happy to hear that his service department has cost him 140,000$+ sale.

..4 days and all then know is the tranny fluid is black! Same ol stuff...

The shift inner-lock failed, thats how they explaned it getting stuck in gear. Still no explanation as to why the fluid is black or why they never looked at the fluid the first couple of times it was there. Theu are going to fix the transmition but not the clutch, and no rent rent car, they will have the truck ready in 1-2 weeks?

Hopefully you get a bottle of KY with your receipt...they could at least have bought you a 30day bus pass.

That dealer sucks! All the trucks you parent's company has bought there. Why so long to fix your truck?

1-3 days for parts to come in, maybe 2-3 to fix. 4-5 days TOPS. Usually if a vehicle is off road, they'll over night the parts in!

AHHAHAHAH There not replacing the clutch, even though it's "completly wore out" they said it's not there fault I drove the truck in 5th gear. Even though the first two time I brought it to them I towed it, this time I drove it so "the damage was cause by abuse" wtf ever I am getting the viper/CenterForce set up so..... They also said now it looking like the end of next week instead of the middle. and I CAN"T TAKE ANY PICTURES OF THE TRANNY WHILE IN THERE SHOP, but I can come see it if I wish...

PSI Motorsports is right down the road, I don't have the cash now but as soon as I do I will get the viper/CenterForce set up and then have them put it in...

What a crock of shit. I'd be escalating this...they do not have the final say in such matters, there are regional managers etc that you can escalate to.

:dito:

And that is HORSE SHIT about not being able to take pictures of YOUR tranny in their shop... It's YOUR'S :dontknow:  You are also entitled to ALL of the old parts that were replaced.

I took lots of pictures when they rebuilt my tranny. (twice and under warranty)

you're dealing with these assholes why????

I asked about the old parts and they said that they have to turn tham in to get paid for the warranty.

This has been a very long few weeks, what I think gets me into this is amy passive wtf ever attitude. I don't give a crap what they do at this point, I know that with two days of have MY truck in MY possesion it will be fixed. I have talked to many shops around here and found on that I trust. I had made the secision to not let them do anything and take the truck back as is get it fixed my sefl and be done with it... BUT my uncle andme had a long talk(mainly abot the company account) and I told him to do what ever he wanted but I wasn't going near them again... He then called our lawer and we a a talk on the phone, he said that with the amount of service ticket that I have on this truck and the amount of down time that I could turn it in on lemon law, and could have done so a LONG time ago. I explaned that I don't want to I would rather just fix it my sefl, he asked if they knew that and I said no. He said the reason they are giving me the run around I because they know that I am not going to turn it in, if I was it would have been done along time ago... I guess he is right but he said he would come pick me up tomorrow and him me and my uncle would go down there around 12. He also said he would serve them court papers and make sure they were there before we got there. He think that he can get the to change out EVERY thing again and extend the warranty for 100% coverage for one year, any thing less that that and he would bring them to court.... He said if I wwant to then I could follow through and go to court and win easy or I could judt pick my truck up and do what I was going to.

I think they will realize how serious I am and then mabey fix it, but I am also worried they will do some half ass work and it will break again... but I guess its worth a try. I just REALLY REALLY SUCKS not having a car, I have the company truck to get to work now, but thats it I can't go out in it so...

btw corp. has been little to no help now, over all I am really just exausted with it and at the end of my rope...

man i hope it all works out for you.
truck has been in service since may 24 06, so the clutch is in the 1 year 12,000 mile warranty. (Truck has 7,000 on it now)

Public is NOT entitled to warranty parts. That is a true statement they gave you. I used to work at a dealer in parts and we had to send defective parts back to the mfg all the time so they could study how the part failed as well as verify if the claim was bogus or not . . .

That used to make so many people mad too.

That is true. Since it's under warranty, you are not paying for the parts, so you have no right to the old parts.

Very long morning short - they will fix the tranny, not the clutch and will have it ready by wed. of next week. They now have a pending lawsuit, and lost a 100,000 order for 4 trucks. When i get the clutch back it will only have 10% of the clutch left. I have been in contact with many people for quotes and such, I am more worried about quality though. I need my truck and i can't aford to keep playing there game, so it's now between them and my lawer (and uncle). There basic answer for everything was "It's not our decision or problem" They wanted 1,074$ to relplace the clutch. They wouldn't even give me a break on labor, when my lawer ask if "RAJ" thought 1,074$ was alot of money he replied,"yea but i don't own a viper truck either" Thats when my lawer told me it was time to go.

side note for anyone that has had there tranny built... 1025$ for...
Includes:
- T-56 Core Transmission
