... today is the first time i have driven my truck any kind of distance since installing the magnaflow system. I usually put my cruise on about 60 -65 and get around 11.8 mpg on the avg meter on the ceiling. But today i drove b/n 60 and 65 for 45 miles and got 14.5 the whole time. is this an accurate increase for only an exhaust mod?

I live four miles from work in the beautiful city of Raleigh, North Carolina. I average about 9.5 mpg driving to work and around town. I just got back from a 750-mile trip to Ocean City, Maryland for a muscle car show this past weekend. I averaged over 18 mpg at 65 mph in my 2004 (2143 of 3057). My truck is stock with the exception of a K&N panel filter and the Mopar (Borla) upgraded cat-back exhaust (two mufflers with crossover pipe). I do have a tonneau cover with the wing still installed.

Why would you drive 60-65???????????????, Hell you can get 9-11mpg running 100mph, its much more exciting + you get places faster.

15.8 @ 70-75 MPH for 100 miles, today. See mods in sig line. With current mods, around town avg is up from 9-10 to 12ish. Yes, I do still put my foot into it.
