Also, did you check all of your spark plugs to see how they looked?

The spark plug on Cylinder #2 looked a little lean, while the rest looked fine. I should have taken pictures of those, but i just didn't see anything to warrant concern.

rod bearing

this may be of help. my truck spun a rod bearing at about 3000 miles. i was driving it hard. it made a knocking noise like a rod was getting ready take flight. the dealership pulled the motor sent it back to arrow racing in michigan and was bored and sent back and reinstalled with a slight increase in hp. arrow told me it was a better built motor than the factory one now.

Alot of times a spun bearing will lock the engine up, it'll pinch the crankshaft.

Heh, i should... we are gonna hit a high of 66 tomorrow.!!!!!! Woo hoo.. dammit perfect track conditions..

Ron you better be running this Friday, with a high of 25 and clear conditions! I'll ride the motorbike down and watch if it's not raining like last friday.
