Map lights

So I took off my map light covers to install some led lights. Problem is I can't get the lenses to stay in now. I don't think the are broke but I'm going to go down to dodge to at lest look at a new one to see if mine are broke. I know some guys have done this mod before on her is there anything I'm just missing that would make this A LOT easier?

If the lens is loose and pushes in too far you have to take the whole assembly down to set the lense under the spring clip so it. Ill activate the switch. From experience.... Its a pita

I was putting the clip part in (the side you push on) and the one side that is a almost complete O. One they are I can just slid the other side on that looks more like an U but it just falls out.
