A friend of mine wants me to take his new motorcycle from Florida to Ohio for him. What is the maximum safe weight in the bed of the QC??

He said the bike weighs about 700 lbs.

Not lowered... until I put the bike in it! ;)

Thanks for the info! That's about what I thought.

Gonna kill my MPG! :D

I've put over 500lbs of tile in the back of mine along with 2500lbs of trailer out the back....no issues and mines lowered RC. Just having the bike in the back will not kill MPG. I have one in the back of mine a couple times a month.

Comes with having a truck. All of sudden all of your friends think you own a moving company. I'm glad a lot of my friends are dumb enough to think that my bed cover doesn't come off. If they ask I'll tell them it does, but most of the time they leave me out of the equation 'cause they think I can't take it off. haha.

50 sheets of drywall is kind of scary in a lowered RC, 1600#'s of concrete bags up near the cab isnt too terrible though.

When I had my truck I hauled full dressed 7.3L powerstrokes in the back of my lowered R/C. The shipping weight on it was 1600 lbs. 700 LBS. in a Q/C will be a walk in the park! The bed attachment on an SRT is the same as any other Dodge truck, the suspension is the only difference.
