well the wing was thrown clear of the carnage. it was all the way home hiding in the garage closet. somehow it made it home before i did:dontknow: . Right now it is all i have left of the truck unscratched.


Disclaimer: There were not any SRT-10 wings hurt during the actions of this wreck. All wings used were simply props from a hemi daytona and were scrapped after being used as a double.







you see even after the wreck i still have my life and ability to make lemonade. on the brighter side of things if the truck is repaired i will get 4 new wheels and my vibration will go away

Well I am glad to hear ur okay thats all that matters. Def been there done that. I had a 04 when these things first came out. Needless to say smeo lady cut infront of me and t-boned me. I ended up spinning out and hitting a concrete light pole with the front end. It was a really bad wreck. It happened 2 years ago and i still have nightmares about it. As long as ur ok nothin else matters though. that truck is replaceable but ur life isn't. Good luck with everything. You be in our prayers.

Glad your ok, as everyone else stated, insurance can replace your truck, but cant replace you.

Rams take a licking and keep on ticking. When i got side swiped in my Rumble bee. I hardly felt anything. But the truck took alot of damage. Only problem is no matter how good your body shop is they can never get your truck back to the way it was

If they do total your truck are you going to buy it back from the insurance ?

I just want to point out that if the wing was on the truck....SVT would have died....the wingless nature of the truck saved his life....

Good to hear you are ok. If they do decide to fix the truck I'm sure they will have to replace the drivers seat. I'll bet the suede is more than just a little stained! Sounds like you are real lucky it stayed rightside up.

will know more in the morning as for me the ol truck did its job in protecting the passenger and taking the brunt of the impact. Ended up in a ditch nose first after sliding on 2 wheels across 5 lanes of traffic and did not hit a single person. what a miracle in the least. I am ok little shaken up and sore and sad about my truck. but the make trucks everyday. I am the one that is not replaceable. anyway i will let you guys know more as i do.

by the way ESH this happened in Baytown right by the go cart track on 146. you can see the marks from the tires and RIMS the back of the cab is dented in from the bed hitting it and the front clip is destroyed. and 3 rims are gone and atleast 3 tires.

Wow Blaine...I haven't been on the forum in a couple of days and just got off the phone with Zollie...aka, had_to_have_it...and couldn't believe what I was hearing and reading. I am so glad that you are okay. I just didn't need any more bad news as I am attending a funeral this Wednesday for a good friend of mine whose husband was killed on a 50cc dirt bike he was repairing for his daughter.

You said it the best they make trucks everyday and they can be replaced...you are the one that thankfully pulled out of that situation fine and will be around to help me rep the SRT name again!:rock:
