I personally enjoy Carl's take on the situation.... Me Americans are quite BLIND to the world. It's refreshing to hear a view from outside this country. I am all for getting back to VERY conservative beliefs and practices.... but, we have to mend our wounds with the world first, IMO.

The Repub is getting my vote this year cause at 21, I don't want our Democracy to fail before I reach 40. The rest of the "developed" world can have its universal health care and double digit unemployment. We need real liberties again, liberty from unjust taxation, government intrusion into our daily lives, and more public agencies which are as delinquent as the DMV (lol). *sigh* I wish we had small government.

Unfortunately we have people that can't even vote correctly in 2 states that get to help decide the out come of an election....These people live in Florida and Michigan and are short a couple Chromosomes anyway. Most of the venom towards the Black candidate comes from the south for some reason Hard to figure that one :dontknow: Then you read follow up posts like vote Republican I need the tax breaks or something like it...They you realize just how this country does make it ? What if you like some Republican policies but also like some Democrat policies? It "looks" like it would be better if it were one nation voting for two candidates and their polices, not 2 candidates and their parties policies/meanings/history/future.

My grandfather fought in WWII as many Kiwi and Australian brothers did, show some respect. 5,300,000 Australian men enlisted, of which over 60,000 were killed and 156,000 wounded, gassed, or taken prisoner in WW1 alone. Luckily I have a chin and find your attempts to be amusing, lame at best. Unlike "some" who throw a tantrum, have a cry and "leave" only to come back. Again. And again. And again.
