ok guys I am meeting a 03 L tommorrow to race from a dig and a roll, I am stock he has exaust upgraded pully, I believe he said he is getting 2 more pds of boost over stock. Any advice or tips you can give me ? we will be videoing so win or loose i will post them. please any tips

Just make sure you don't have to wash his dishes!! Just kidding, good luck. Sounds like it's going to be a drivers race.

Lower your rear tire pressure and raise your fronts. Make sure he is on street tires. From a roll try to go at a low speed so you can be in the top of 1st gear. If you honk take a couple of extra seconds between the 2nd and 3rd honk so he can't jump the gun. Try to have him honk since he does not have to shift. Then try to anticipate the 3rd honk. Last thing is let your truck cool down before you race. If you go when the temp or less then 200 then you will be good.

Have fun, be safe and let us know how it comes out.

You would think that, but you can can not underestimate an L. You never really know all their mods, unless this is a friend. Just don't miss third!!

well i got about a hour before i leave, just went out and checked all my fluids, I will be stopping to put air in the front tires, What is the highest amont of pressure i can put in them?

I don't know about the highest, but I would go for 45. Drop the rears to below 30. Maybe even 25. Then you should try to do a few launches to get the feel for it. The launch will be key for you to win. Well that and not missing 3rd. Also if you have a long way to drive to meet this guy, then don't adjust your tire pressure until you get closer. Don't forget to put the air back in for the ride home. I forgot once when I left the race track. Drove over an hour with like 25 psi in the rears.

I think the Chargers do better when the traction control is off. But if it was a good race and he won, then you have a good race on your hands. Do a little burnout just prior to lining up.
