Guys, remember the day you got your rig?

Mine was picked up in IL and transported here. I asked the guy I dealt with to take some shots of it before it made its way to NY.

Tight fit huh? Well you should see the size of the guy that put it in. He came out the window through a door on the side.

I also have video of it coming off the truck at my house. Truck broke down in NJ (figures) and I lost a day due to it, but it was worth the wait.

Treker would you be able to send a copy of the raw footage to me. I'm doing a music video for this forum. I could use some footage like this. PM me if you are willing and I'll pay all the expenses that come out of your pocket for this favor.

Thanks,
Brad

I remember great pain and angst...I wrote a check for 103,000.00 for my rig and the old ladies...........I smiled the whole time :D

Oh and it didn't even bounce ;)

I picked mine up from the Maui docks. Woodhouse shipped it to DC Performance and Tony took some pics when he droped it off at the Long Beach docks. It was the first pics I had seen of my truck. From Nebraska to Maui only took 2.5 weeks!!! I was extremly excited the day I picked her up.....a Friday afternoon.

The first two pics are at Long Beach, the third pic is on Maui with a crusie ship behind it.

I went to a dealer in Longmont, CO in Nov of 04. The closest red 05 at the time was in Stilwater, OK. The dealer had a driver take me to Stilwater where I took possession of the truck, and I drove it about 700 miles on a test drive back to Colorado. Was a great time and I did buy the truck.

Bought mine sight unseen from some hick town in Idaho. Some dumbshit ordered it and then decided not to take delivery...

Thanks Bud

I was out looking for a new vehicle chosing between a Beemer M5 or a C6 Vette. I actually turned into Tomball Dodge by mistake and as I was on the lot making a U-turn I saw her... #1900 was sitting on the lot as the absolute last '04 vehicle on the lot (and the only SRT at that). I had to take a closer look because it felt as if I were looking at a unicorn. I never heard of an SRT until that day. I asked the sales guy is I could have a peek. I had no clue that by sitting in the drivers seat I would forget all else... 8 miles on the ODO. I knew the truck had potential so I left after hearing the ridiculous price of $51,000.00 (calling the sales guy's bluff). I came back a few days later and started talking price again. He came down to $46,000.00 very firm. I didn't bite. I knew it was August '05 and they would be getting screwed paying taxes.... So I left again and gave it a week before returning. The sales guys now came down to $41,500.00.... Nope. He asked what I would pay. I said $32,000.00. He wasn't going for it and stood firm on $41,000.00. I left and was back in my vehicle with no intentions of returning. He ran out and got me back in settling on $37,000.00 TT&L included.... Ahhh, and the wheels were so clean as well. No breakdust on the inside either.... Memories...

I remember that day! Ringgold Dodge had me out door within 30-45 minutes! It was about to rain that day and I wanted to get it home so it would truely never be driven in rain. I test drove the truck earlier that week. The test drive is all it took!

The more pics I see of the '06, the more I like them. She's a purtty one.

Pretty much the same experience for me - left over '05 sitting on the lot for a year(built in Feb '05, bought in May '06), this is how much I want to pay, sign the papers, gone in a cloud of tire smoke.:burnout:

I stopped in at the dealer to make an appointment to get the oil changed in my 99 1 ton dually. I was walking out when the salesman I always deal with stopped me to chat. He pointed to the SRT/10 and said that was what I needed. I said no thanks, I'm happy with what I have and was already in my truck when I decided to take a look.

Well as the story goes, the rest is history. :)

congrats man. very happy to see another one so close. i do however resent the jersey comment :D

I had an 03 Hemi Quad cab 8' bed, sitting in my driveway under an over priced Mopar cover (more fabric than Oprah's bloomers). Figured if I was going to keep something around, it might as well be something fun to drive. The real deal maker, was, the Srt 10 could fit into the garage, (with minor mods to the door). At the dealer, I was hung by my ankles until my last nickel fell out. The day I took my baby home, (no car seat back then) less then an inch of snow fell. I cleaned it off the entire truck, wheeled it into the garage, and it hasn't seen snow, and only one light rain since. Yes i'm demented. P.S. Since this truck cost an arm and a leg (43k) I had to learn how to clutch and shift without these appendages. :burnout:

I remember it well. I had looked at other SRT-10's and knew I would own one, but couldn't decide on color. Then I saw th CE, with blue on white and the dressed-out look of the tonneau cover, I was hooked. There were three for sale in the Atlanta area, the first one I saw was already sold. I found this one, 057/200, at Landmark Dodge. Had my kid with me. I'm sure he will always remember it like I will.

I jumped onto a plane, flew to Memphis TN and bought it from a dealership that Bobby Hamilton brokered it through. Drove straight home and got 18.5 MPG, why you ask? It was raining....

I drove to Tallahassee Florida at the airport rented a car and promptly drove all the way to Lincoln Nebraska. Arrived 10pm at night. Went straight to the dealership Performance Dodge. They had her in a glass display case with lights shining all over, I was steady taking pics thru the window.Needless to say there was no sleep that night. I got up, ate, wasted time and still got to the dealership before 7am. Waited on anybody to get there until 8. Sneaked in the front door with the clerical help. I was sitting in the truck grinning large by the time the salesman finally came in. You know I didn't even mind that I had to pay 45k for #068 YF. That truly was a happy Day !

Well I traded my 05 ram daytona and bought a red 05 rc had it one week and someone stole it. They found it in the hood in cleveland burnt to a crisp. The insurance company waited for two moths before they paid it off. So i was on ebay and saw a brand new 05 ce in virginia at a dealer. I called him and said I would give him 40,000 out the door and he agreed. That week end me and a friend drove my 06 charger daytona to pick it up.
