i used to have a Ram Daytona edition #0131 that I bought after returning from Iraq. I just happened to be down in Pueblo Colorado when I saw it on a platform. I thought I would never be able to get it. Then one day I was feelin squirly and drove down to see what they could do. I was the first person in a year that was truely interested. They took a serious hit on the deal, but it was an excelent deal in my opinion. got her out the door for a little over 33k.

In June of 2005 I saw a Red 2004 on a used car lot (7K miles) and found out that they were asking $39K. My father in law had been wanting to buy my 2003 Hemi Ram from me for some time. So I did the math and figured the SRT-10 could fit my budget. I went to try and work a deal on the Red 04 and they wouldn't budge on the $39K.

I looked around further and found 2 brand new Silver 04s left over at 2 separate dealerships. One of them had chrome side sills, brushed aluminum fuel door, mopar tailight accents and mopar bedliner. That one listed for 49K. The other one was stock and listed for 47K.

Anyway I went to both dealership and told the sales managers that I would have one of the 2 trucks in garage by the end of the week, just depended on who would cut me the best deal. They both started calling me that night trying to undercut the other one's best price. The next day I bought the one with the best deal; $39K out the door with all the mopar addons included.

At the time it was a killer deal. I couldn't have been any happier and still am. :rock:

SRT 10 snuck up on me

How I purchased the 05 SRT. I was working on a project out of town (about a 9hour drive) and drove by the local dealership on the way to work, I had been in town about 3 days when I noticed the silver beast,after work that day I stopped by and took a look, the dealer was closed so I didn't have any salesman bugging me!! I went back to my hotel and researched the truck on the net, the next day I went in for a test drive. The salesman told me it was a very powerful truck and not just anybody was allowed to test drive it unless they were serious about buying it!! I asked to see the sales manager, gave him my keys to my 04 one ton dually and showed him my racing license.
I got to test drive the truck (with the salesman in it, I think he nearly sh*t his pants when I found a open road in the country and found out what these trucks can do).
Within an hour the truck was mine.

Great stories... I have read them all. So many very similar. Seems like many had no real intention of getting rig until they saw and drove one. I have known about them since 04 but have 2 kids and got the hemi QC instead. Like I said previously, my friend has a "L" and I got tired of watching the tailgate so I made the decision to take a step up. Still have the hemi as a daily driver. Not a great ecomony decision, but need the backseat and dont want to drive the SRT everyday. I have 6k on it since last Sept. I am trying to pace myself and enjoy every mile.

I was out looking for an SS Silverado (I had a Silverado LS before this truck) and couldnt find any that were New or even Decent Used. So we went to the West Side of Jax. I had just told my wife screw it, lets go look at the Dodge Dealership (Cuz I also like the Dodge Trucks body style). Low and behold, they had these trucks on the lot with wings on the back of them. I was like "Thats Different!", so I walked on up and it said Viper on the hood. I was awestruck....and then scared shitless when I saw the sticker price!

The salesman wasnt very friendly and wasted an hour of my time telling me he wanted this,this and this. I hadnt even made up my mind about the truck yet.....so I left.

I had to go pick up my Silverado since it was getting a new roll and lock bed cover....when I drove by another dealership in Oarnge Park. There she was.....so beautiful....with a Black one and a Silver one....she called to me. "KRAZY come hither..." and therefore I did.

5 Hours and one very upset wife later....I had my beautiful Red SRT QC in my possession. And a week later I found this place....Home.
