My husband, being unhappy with my mood swings,

bought me a mood ring the other day so he would be

able to monitor my moods.


We've discovered that when I'm in a good mood, it turns green,

When I'm in a bad mood,



it leaves a big frickin red mark on his forehead.


Maybe next time he'll buy me a diamond.. Dumb ass.

See? :hmpf:This is precisely the reason why I've always avoided marriage. The term "ball and chain" :girlshit: doesn't, in the least bit, seem very :dontknow: appealing to me.

While at a function before I retired two young ladies were

near enough to the groupe I was with that we all clearly heard one tell

the other,"I'm so mad at my boyfriend, he say's if you get married or move in

together all women want to do then is nag and spend all your money!"


I thought for a moment then asked her loudly," how old is your boyfriend?"


She looked embarrassed but answered 31. I told her," hun he is a genius,

it took me 45 yrs to figure that out!"

FRIGGEN BRAVO:congrats: I don't know how many of them I've been through that put on an act.. THE SAAAAAME ACT, to try and convince me they are different from the rest and will gladly put their share in on a 50-50 relationship. I never met one woman that liked to cook or COULD cook.. Thankfully I was raised by my grandmother and mother to be self efficient. I cook, clean, do my own laundry, ironing.. I asked a woman once when will she learn to cook. This high maintenance chick had to nerve to reply with, "Why should I? That's what we have men like you for." Needless to say I eventually (sooner than later) cancelled our association.

I've seen this sort of attitude time and time again. So then what the heck would I need to attach myself to a woman for other than to take on her financial problems and inability to balance my checkbook, oh and a guaranteed piece of pie every now then? AND EVEN NOW THERE'S NO GUARANTEES THESE DAYS.. Screw that guys I'll just stay free... Test driving one or two from time to time... Spending my own hard earned money, taking care of myself and raise my daughter not to depend on a man like too many of these ladies do these days.

But don't get me wrong there ARE some awesome women out there, but sadly rare and harder to find. WHERE ARE THEY???

Sorry for the ranting.. In fruastration I let myself go for a moment..

Another main reason for not getting involved is

because of the fu#&*@ federal domestic violence law. A woman can nag,

bitch, and raise all the Hell she wants to at you, and she is just "VENTING",

but if after hours or days of gritting your teeth hoping she was just on her

period and would stop, you finally raise your voice back because that's the

only way to get a word in edgewise, your guilty of verbal abuse or even

simple assault!; which can result in you loseing your rights, especially your

right to have a gun, forever. There was a man here that let a gal stay at his

house after she was evicted from her apt and about a month later she took

out a TPO on him. When our guys went and put him out, he told them that

this woman was just a guest and it was his house, but they told him he

would have to tell it to the judge. The judge ruled in his favor but when

he returned his valuables, including family jewelry and other heirlooms were

missing, and of coarse the woman claimed ignorance. Well the guy went

into a depression and killed himself. (I will never understand why a guy would

do that, if I was that upset, someone might have died, but not me, at least

not first anyway.) I have lost everything I worked for and had to start over

three times myself, never again. :rock:

You got that right, since that new law passed where we kick the man out

because he is supposed to be a threat several men have gone back and killed

the woman.

Before we would hide the woman at a shelter and never had a fatality.

During my years in law enforcement I've only seen one woman go to jail simply because she was clearly the aggressor and physically assaulted her husband in front of their child as well as me and the other officer who was first on the scene. She actually thought she would be able to get away with it because she was smaller than the husband and could shed some fake tears at the drop of a hat. But before she made that mistake the other officer immediately took that big breasted woman's side consoling her and talking down to her husband. Luckily for the husband the first on the scene had to wait for backup with domestic disturbances. I could tell he was itching to haul the husband in even though I was trying to convince him something wasn't right with the stories. That's when she rushed him from her position clear across 15 feet to finally hit the hubby in his face with a closed fist. If it weren't for that move I'm afraid the husband was either going to have to leave or be taken into custody. Ain't that a bitch?
 
I really, REALLY don't wanna start a fight here...... Honest.

But as your above post suggested, her boyfriend must be a genius for figuring it out at 31 when it took the subject alot longer....

I'd just like to say that most of the battle of the sexes could be won by men AND women making better choices....... more careful decisions about who and why they marry....

I'm not trying to be DR. fkn Phil here.... But this is a two way street. If you make a shit decision when picking a life partner, husband, wife, ho, bitch or significant other, then you only have yourself to blame.

Men and women have been forever bitchin', complaining and blaming the OTHER fkn party for all their marital ills. When they really should man (or woman) the fk up, look into the mirror and blame THEMSELVES for their own shit decisions.

People marry for funny reasons. "He/She is a major hottie / Look at that face / long legs and big knockers / his schlong was e-fknormous / he made me laugh all the time"...... Sure, these are nice assets, but if the person you marry isn't a person of good quality, selfless, caring, dedicated, giving, kind AND has some nice visual attributes... well....what would girls like that wanna have anything to do with us anyway.....?

We need to take responsibility for our own actions, stay single or simply live in misery all our married lives..... (Oh yeah, you could get divorced every 6 weeks, too)

I really feel sorry for some guys....... OK...OK...... I really don't. It's yer own damn fault....

Very true - BUT people can change over time.
 
There's a saying goes something like this: A woman marries a man hoping to change him (He won't) and a man marries a woman hoping she never changes (she always does).

Sometimes it's those differences (her changing and him not) that will drive people apart. They had the best intentions when they started out. It just didn't go the way each of them intended.

Absolutely.

And that's the mark of a successful marriage....

No one's perfect... and those imperfections are gonna raise their ugly heads all the time. Selfishness is usually the main flaw in human nature/marriage and it shows up in every aspect of a relationship.

Getting rid of our selfishness is like being on the great Autobahn of personal growth in EVERY dynamic of Life here on Planet Earth.
