Sounds like a custom tune with a hand held programmer would be the best for you. The easiest way to go is to tune your truck for 100 unleaded fuel (do not mess with the leaded stuff). This fuel is readily available at many gas stations and you can fill up anytime. Once tuned on the dyno for this fuel, you can have a race calibration or a 91 calibration. Options are two computers or a handheld.
The oxygenated unleaded fuels work great but can cause hard starting and have a very short shelf life. Good for a drag day and nothing else. This stuff is really nasty and will give you two headed babies if you breathe it.
