Read above, Mobile 1 removed some additives that made the oil good for our engines, and it is no longer recommended for use ....

I will get the proper name of the ingredients removed and what oil you should be using... Ive got it written down somewhere.

ok i was not totally right on the blanket on mobile 1.. but the basic stuff is no good,, you need to run there racing oil and here is a link for it... it has the proper stuff in it

That's the only oil I've ever used.

O'riellys auto parts has the 5 gallon jug for $29. I told the guy but it does not come in 0w40. He handed me 5 quarts for the same deal. I should have grabbed the racing oil as it was there also. I will try tomorrow.

The last oil change #1900 got was right before the PCB GTG.. FOR 2011!!! But don't worry, she hasn't been driven close to 3,000 miles from last May to now. She sat in the garage most of the time since I was out of the country a lot. I think I'll change her oil this week since I'm home and oil prices seem nice.

You realize that Mobile 1 is no longer the recommended oil for this engine right?? even though it says it on the gas cap... The oil composition has changed since they recommended it and it is missing vital additives and there for is crap...

How about this oil: penzoil Ultra Euro SAE 5W-40?
Pennzoil Ultra Full Synthetic Motor Oil - Pennzoil

or rotella t6?
