Thats what I hear, I am gunna start early, I hope I get it done by the end of the day. Dropping them tomorrow to get Jet-Hot Coated.

update :

I have been using the truck with the mopar LT headers for 100miles , the sound is very nice , i like the tone . The truck sounds very menacing , i think it was louder with the decats and mf exhaust.

i think its still very loud though . I am looking into getting a mopar exhauast to replace the magnaflow.

I never got to install mine last year because after I got them back from Jet-Hot it started to get cold outside, now that the weather is getting warmer I am going to do the install. Only problem is I bought them used, and did not get the o2 extenders. Do I need them for the front or rear o2's? And where can I get them? Thanks.

i too have sims , but you need the extenders to extend the length . without them the o2 sensor will not reach the headers .

I am confused now, my sims are installed and vip tied up under the truck. i have no rear o2 sensors. Just the 2 front ones that are on the stock headers are there. So I will need extenders for the front?

I believe he is talking about mechanical sims. It sounds like you are using electrical sims.

Yeah my sims are electrical sims. I pulled off the drivers side today, and changed the plugs, installing the long tube setup tomorrow, then on to the passenger side.

With my Bassani shorties, I am going more for the bling factor (to match polished intake), and sound (in concert with PowerSticks and highflow mids). I don't want the truck to sound obnoxiously loud though. I just want it to sound similar to an axe murderer with headlights. Performance gains, whether big or small, :dontknow: don't bother me none.
