Hey Everyone!
I wanted to say thanks to everyone who came to Mopar Nationals this year and made it such a fantastic event:
- (my) Rachel- You're the best, fur! I'm so glad you put up with all my crap and let me geek out with my SRT-10 friends. What an awesome chick! I'm such a lucky bastard.
- Eddie- for chef'ing the BBQ on Saturday night. Of course, Dawn's prep of the food was 99% of it.
Thanks for the grilles and the grub!
- Doneo- well, you'll all see what this is about a little later on this year.
Thanks again, man!
- NowWhat- Thanks for dinner, and the laughs! You were the exclamation mark to the whole weekend.
- Stinker- It's tough to miss a guy who's laugh shows up on radar.
Did anyone get Stinker's Boss a medal yet? LOL
- NBT- You're awesome, buddy. We'll hook up and do stuff after your re-lo. Oh, and next year you're in charge of racing!
- Boomer- for being one of the coolest guys on the planet. Mrs.Boomer deserves a medal too (and a weekend at Easton! LOL)
- Bone- for helping me out with the 'truck coordination' on Friday and Sat. Sorry about your ride though. I guess the good news is that you didn't put any miles on it going home!
- BeGood & SonOfBeGood- thanks for the tech help with the rear window (and crushing a dream. LOL) And thanks for the hat!
- TexasYellowFever- thanks for the hat! I'll be in touch about the switch. Oh, and nice work on the wrap. It looks great!
- FSTJACK- thanks for comin' out and staying more than 2 hours this time! LOL Always a pleasure to talk and hang out with you, my friend.
- BlueSRT10- thanks for the shirt and for bringing that awesome blue beauty to the event. Those blue ones make me wish I'd saved a few more pennies.
- Wazzsup- thanks for the JiffyLube parking lot on Sat. night in Heath. We'll have to remember that! Oh, and the video is AWESOME! I can't wait for the other stuff.
- JMBperformance- great to meet you in person, Justin. Hopefully you'll invite me to your graduation before you head off to college. LMAO! Keep up the fantastic work. Oh, and if you could....tell your dad I said thanks for doing a great job raising you.
- Prof- thanks for dinner and everything else. I love hangin' out with guys smarter than me.
- MoPower1958- Thanks for bringin' the SRT-1 again this year! What a cool vehicle. Oh, the Coronet is no slouch either! LOL
- StreetWedge- the truck looks great, and next year hopefully your son will have that Charger sparkling in the August sun.
- Trooper & Mrs.Trooper- It was nice to see you folks again (so friendly for an ex-highway patrolman. LOL) I'm sure we'll see each other soon.
- SpeedRacer & Mrs.SpeedRacer- thanks for coming up to the event and hanging out with us. I'm glad that the bookstore trip worked out.
- Outnumbered- Dude! Ya know it's okay for dirt to get on the tires, right? LOL The truck looked factory-fresh and you're a great guy....and a better wrestler than Stinker.
- SilvrSRT10- thanks for coming up and joining us this year. Sorry you had to leave early, but...there's always next year!
- AMoparMan- Nice to finally meet you, and thanks for cruising with us on Sat. night in Heath. I'm glad to year you had a good time. Please join us again next year!
- CTSRT10- Good to see you again, Chris! Sorry about the coconut shrimp.
- Dominick572- Thanks for comin' up to the event...and bringing Juliana! I'll get crackin' on that fuse box/ 9.36V issue. We'll get it solved quickly.
- JoeMags & Jim- thanks for bringin' the accent, yousguys! It's always comforting to hear that. Joe- congrats again to your wife on the new business. I hope it prospers.
- NYCsteve- thanks for joining us on Sat. night in Heath. The CE with the Roe is *sweet*! I hope you had a good time at the 'entertainment facility' I directed you to.
- DJ & Daniel- thanks for comin' up and bringin' the new NightRunner. It looks AWESOME! And thanks for the plethora of beers on Sun. night. If I didn't have to drive, I would have grabbed a straw.
- NotAHemi & NotAHemi's Cousin- thanks for comin' down and bringing *the* stock SRT-10. It was great to see you guys again.
- Shawn & Izzy- thanks for comin' out to the show again guys. It's great to see the AZ Crew each year. Next time, throw Mikey in a duffel bag and bring him too.
(Shawn- did you pick up the new Volvo yet? LMAO)
- SnakeBaller- great meeting you and John(?) and congrats on the nice track times. After hearing some of your plans for the truck, I'm *sure* they'll be improved next year. LOL Thanks for bringin' the red machine down this year.
- Brian and Mrs. Brian- thanks for bringin' the CE over from MD again. It was great to see you two again. Next year, bring the Crossfire too.
- The YellowFever NY Crew- It was nice to see you guys again! I hope you had as much fun in Heath as we did! See ya in 2008!
- Roktman- thanks for your help with the RB.org and DTW.com guys. Oh, and thanks for the swag bag! Some cool stuff in there.
- DodgeCowboy2004 (from RumbleBee.org)- Thanks for bringing down the "Rumble Bee 340"..heh heh. That hood is truly retro and original at the same time. Nice truck, my friend. Hopefully you'll join us next year too.
- Thanks to those who joined us at the last minute: the two gentlemen with the VCA (sorry fellas; I'm so terrible with names...please remind me), and the lovely couple from Heath with the 2005 black QC that stopped by on Sunday. I have a feeling we'll be hearing more from them in the future so I won't spoil their entry into the VTCOA.
- And last (but far from least) Jim B. and Karen V. (organizers of Mopar Nationals) for everything they did for the VTCOA. From the gate entry to moving a lift on Saturday morning so we weren't trapped in.....they were AWESOME. A true pleasure to work with.
If I left anyone one out, please send me a scalding PM or email. Shoddy memory is my only excuse.
Thank you everyone.
I had a fantastic weekend and hope we can do it again next year....with even more folks!
