I can't understand why there is talk of bringing guns, and whoop ass to a race/show party.
What is that all about?
That is just too wierd for me as I have never heard of that kind of thing before at an event like this.
Are the folks that are talking about it, making threats.
This bothers me and whoever is doing it may have to find a new place to post the trash talk.

Maybe the talkers assumed the listeners had a sense of humor?Nothing was done when I was threatened on here but a response is quickly generated when it is ME that posts a joke in response to another joke.

I`ll refrain from joking since I can`t be sure who has a sense of humor or not...sorry.

I doubt you will get a honest response from those parties Jack. Some people need weapons to make them feel safe, or to talk about them to make themselves bigger and tougher then what they are. Pretty much boils down to High School mental tactics IMHO...Who in there right mind would bring a weapon to a gathering of Car nuts and friends..........Hell maybe I will get ahold of my brother and get some of the cash he owes me....Cause if there is going to be 55 gallons of Whoop Ass I am pissed I did not get a invite to that party People need to get over themselves and have some fun. Threats are just that over the internet.....In person I seriously doubt the Jackasses in question have the Nad to do anything...and if they need a weapon that speaks volumes as to their intestinal fortitude and mental state.

If these guys are Concealed Carry Permit Holders in their respective states that has reciprocity with Ohio why couldn`t they bring them? If someone is an active or retired Law Enforcement Officer currently holding a sworn comission, they may be duty bound to carry a weapon according to department mandate.

Most that are attending the Nats is just blowing off steam, and have never seen the inside of a cell. they may talk about whoopass, spray, guns, and so-on, but the problem is its on a keyboard. from Experience once a person or poeple are face to face, there may be some trash talking but the bigger man usually is the better man, and most are not going to jeopardize going to jail.
