mothers fx synthetic wax

just a quick review of this wax, i had some time yesterday and dawn's car needed it so i clay-barred her charger and waxed it with this wax. all in all it went on and came off pretty easy. really brought out the shine on it. anyone else ever used this before?

For the last 5 years I have used Zaino, and Meguiars when I ran out. One of the benefits that Zaino has over most others is the fact that you can get it on plastic and it will not discolor. Can you comment on the Mother's in this regard?

I'm with you on the Zaino. :rock:

Before I switched to Zaino, I would mask off all the trim so I would not get any wax on it.

Yep! If anything, the Zaino actually helps the plastic look better.

Don't want to stomp on your thread...but "ICE" has been a pleasant surprise to me...also synthetic, spreads like oil, can use in direct sun, wipes off with no effort at all...brightens all surfaces including rubber and plastic...does not have the depth of Zaino, but you can do a truck in 30 minutes...

this wax didnt stay on the plastic either, just like ice it comes right off. i normally use zaino just wanted to try this. i like it better than the ice. seems to put a better coat of wax on. zaino is the shit if you have all day.

Yep, did mine yesterday with Ice. I found that you should start wiping it back off before it completly hazes or it's to hard to get it back off but overall I like it.

if i was retired, had no money to take to the casino, couldn't afford a 1/5th of Jack, couldn't find a hooker to keep me busy for 30 min, AND ran out of fresh porn on the internet, *then* i might have time to spend 12 hrs/day waxing my truck with zaino. but, that's not the case.

I read you loud and clear the "missed Zaino" was understood, but the conflict in my mind was...is the long Zaino process really that painful...it may not be with the right refreshments, and a love of rubbing on our trucks...but the alternatives you presented do have some wonderful redeeming values...still mulling this over...truly will take a couple of days!
