Sportster had 4 13/16 flywheel, S&S Carb. and ran on straight methanol.

Beautiful blue flames from the straight exhausts at night...

Only could go about 20 miles without refueling...but it killed the "Killersawki's" from the dig!

Max rpm was 4200...the skirts on the pistons were jerked off beyond that...we did not have forged pistons it those days...

3. '74 HD XR 750 cast iron flat tracker...only rode it two or three times...wrist got weak in turn three...

Damn man, my memory ain't that good hehe. I've had a few Trumpets, a Norton, a BSA, an Indian, 3 customs, and a shitload of Harleys..... 5 sportys, a Pan, a knuckle, probably half dozen shovels, 4 FXRs, 9 softtails, a VROD, a Road King, and now I finally have my geezer glide (Road Glide). I can't swear to the accuracy of this, I may have forgotten a few. There were some years there that were mostly a blur hehehe.
