What is the best motoroil to use in our truck's ?
The manual prefer Mobil 1.

If you are still under warranty...go the way the book says...if not, I will let the chorus chime in here (there will be lots of opinions...!)

You know I used RP. But switched back to the mobil 1. (Because of $$$) I have not used the Ams Oil yet.

RP claims a HP increase,I'm using Mobil 1 ,just for the fact is,Im thinking there were a few $$ spent on testing this motor from Dodge and this is the oil they chose, must have been a good reason behind it somewhere??

ok , but here in Belgium we drive our trucks on propaangas (because gasoline cost $10 a gallon here) , but it's a dryer burnproces for the engine.

so you have an srt on propane?????? what kind of numbers does that put down.... i would guess a signifigant loss

On LPG there is no loss of horsepower.
With the right system there can be a increase of power because LPG cools the inlet.
You need to inject 20% more LPG then reguler fuel.

I'm trying this: $20 / Gal. (Auto Zone)

No, it's not recommended for 2 strokes. You might try some over your corn flakes though. :D Rotella has been known as a very good oil for many years. This is the full synthetic version of it and has all the approvals and recommendations and then some. More than Mobil 1.

I use Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck. It has better /more engine protection in it than the Mobil 1 for regular engines.Check the ratings : SL is actually better than SM (being earlier and with more pollution causing agents)

There is a thread here that links to other threads that explain it all better than I can.Just do a search.

Is there an other options for our trucks than 0W-40? I have been to 4 parts stores and wally world this morning, and no one has any??
