Does anybody have any idea what kind of paint is used to get the satin/flat black look, or is it all done with the clear coat to make it looks satin/flat? any help would be appreciated.

My plans is to have the SRT murdered out before the end of the year....I will keep you all posted.

ahhh the old school look hahaha i love it im a big fan of the flatt colors my harley i ride is flat black......i always wanted to do my 10 flat/satin black with gloss black racing stripes with powdercoated satin black wheels....i think it'd would look killer....an dont forget the nonya business window tint

The flat/satin finish can ba accomplished with a base/clear. many paint manufactures are offering the matte and satin clears now. Just aboue any paint shop should be able to hook you up.

I love the murdered out look. If mine wasn't Silver, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I would just hate to have to paint the door jams and all of that. Do it and let's see some pics!

I LOVE IT! I think that is a very good look for a sports truck...but then again, my wife is always complaining that I cant walk out the front door without looking like a weirdo....:D

Yeah, I love the look, lucky for me mine is already black. I would do the door jams and all, but i doubt i would do the engine bay, not so sure that would really matter all too much.. but i will see what happens... i was thinking of doing the murdered out look, blacked out wheels, and then getting the viper powered emblem on the hood done in black, but just a tad bit glossy, just so it stands out a scosh. the subdued look.
