Musicians: What Do You Play?

I dabble a little.

Not pictured (Just got): Ibanez S7320 7 string. Just learning how to shred on this thing :).

Dime V, Goth SG, Korina Explorer, Ovation acoustic... I've got a few other off brand acoustics laying around as well.

Brite- You should sign up over on SevenString.org. TONS of good info over there. It's the best 7-string site on the 'net. The crowd is mostly younger, but.....they're good kids. :)

Mmmm....korina Explorer....

I read some reviews over there before buying, played an RG, played the Apex with the roller on it (didn't really like it), and fell in love with the S series, I think the RG bodies just don't do it for me.

I will have to register over there, thanks :)

You have a nice collection BTW

The wife's got the camera w/ her for the weekend (bro in law plays college ball) but I'll grab some snaps of the S at the head of the week.

I've been practicing on my electronic drum kit and listening through a headphone set. If I wanted to hook up an amplifier to it, which amp would work best? I've been doing some research on different amps (Peavey, Fender etc.) but haven't made up my mind. What amp/speaker size should I be looking at? What should I stay away from? TIA

I play the alto sax (which I haven't picked up in about 2 years) and am trying to teach myself how to play guitar.

Roland makes a drum-specific amp for electronic kits. It's pretty nice. Sorry- but I don't remember the model number off the top of my head. I do, however, remember that it was frickin' pricey. :)

If you're looking at other manufacturers, you need to look for KEYBOARD amps. Those will have a wide enough response range for an electronic kit.
Peavey and Carvin two good names to check out.

Bump to this, Took me a little longer than expected to get a pic of the S series, but here yah go.

A little corner of the home studio I've got going downstairs.

Yes, I am a horrible photographer and I'm sure the flash was set wrong because of the reflections I got, but oh well :)
