My Cadillac CTS-V...I need a shoulder to cry on

The dealer is actually on my side...they are very mad at the Regional Rep. I actually spoke to a lawyer, but was hoping I could resolve this with out letting someone else take money from the case. They said they would take the case pro bono (or at least let GM pay their fees or they get nothing..their words, they know there is a case). It just wears me out...remember my wife's first Super Bee blew the engine, and Dodge commited replacing the whole car in a week. That is why I really want a Jeep SRT8...there in lies my loyalty. You take care of me and I will do everything in my power to support you.

Thanks Dodge you rock..

I can't believe this. I had a Ford and got it rectified after one request of them to take it back on the lemon law. It was not even technically 3 of the same things that had gone wrong with it. I suggest you get all your documentation together and take it to the dealership with a written request that they rectify the situation. Once they see you have written documentation, they should know they are screwed. With that list of repairs, you are sure to win if you do take it to court. I can't believe you've put up with so much. They probably figure you have put up with this much so you must be a pushover. If I were them, that is what I would think.

I was nice about it until recently...then I dropped the hammer on them all. Yelling in front of other customers, calling everyone I can, and emailing GM higher ups. I will give them until the week after Thanksgiving, but after that I will let the lawyer do their thing.

BTW I do have to take the car back to the shop on Monday...looks like a bad cat.

Funny you should say that because the warranty started before I bought the car (no one can tell me why..although they said it was because the car went to the autoshow...that is such BullShit). The car had 452 miles on it when I bought it, again untitled on an MSO. The car only accrued 400 miles under the warranty over a year's period of time..then I bought it (It didn't really bother me when I found this out originally because I knew I would run of mileage way before time; so basically I was getting a 3 year 50 mile warranty instead of a 4/50). I had no idea the District Manager would try to tell me that my car was used from a warranty perspective.

This whole thing really surprises me, actually.... The whole damn thing stinks to high heaven. :dontknow:  :( I had a '99 Caddy STS, and it was one of the best ownership experiences I have EVER had. They (sales team, service, management) treated me better than Porsche, BMW, Audi, and especially Furd....Even LEXUS....

Something MAJOR happened to that car before you bought it.... I bet they figured they could just pull the wool over your eyes and "fix it in the field". .... Now that it has GENUINE REAL issues, that can't be fixed, they are trying to dick you around even more!    That really, really is lawsuit material, IMO.... I bet, if you took it to court (or just a lawyer), and COMPELLED them to get you the REAL history on the car, you would find that it's a colorful one. :( This is the, by far, the worst case of "lemon law" I have ever heard of.... I've had some real pieces of SHIT in my day.... But, nothing like this.

I would even go so far as to tell you to take it to a body shop that you TRUST.... and have them put it on the frame machine. ;)
