I left Pensacola yesterday and drove up to Warner Robbins, Ga. I left the beast with Dan for a little bit of work. 60 lb injectors, VEC3, Cat delete, Meth kit and a tune. While I was there Dan had Dave's (Bone) truck out for a test drive. That is one mean truck. Roe Twin Screw with NOS. Plus his train horn is loud as hell. Now my wife wants a train horn on her suburban after hearing his. I'm in Savannah until Monday. My wife and I drive down to Jacksonville to catch a cruise for 6 days. I will pick the truck up around the 2nd or 3rd of July. I'm looking forward to new setup. Dan asked if there was anything else I wanted done and I couldn't think of anything else that didn't involve tearing into the engine. Any ideas?

Nope but I really belive a major flaw in the STS system is the placement of the 4 extra injectors. In the picture below you can see some white wires at the bottom right. That is where the 4 extra injectors are located. They have to spray around the turn and up at an angle. I think the 10 larger injectors will do wonder for the safety of the system.

Cat delete??

I thought you were already cat-less??:dontknow:

I never had any rear cats. Back in October I had hi-flows put on the front and the stockers taken off. Now I'm dropping the fronts also.

Also doing VEC3 dyno tuning ?

Sounds like good mods ;)

BTW, You need some DR's or slicks.

I will just say this, trying to take a manifold that was totally designed to flow air and nothing else, and then try to make it flow fuel is a disaster waiting to happen. IMO.

Bill.

I agree with you. Those extra injectors will be coming out and the replacement of the stock injectors with the 60 lb'ers should make fuel mangement a lot better.

Have you had any problems with Hill Kelly with the cat delete? Also do you get your bands adjusted there?

Thanks,

Paul

Thats cool Scott.............. Its nice to see that 2007 is a much better year for you and your family!!!! Talking about truck upgrades is way better than what you had going on last year.... Enjoy that cruise and keep us informed on the hot rod!!

They have done my band adjustment with no problems. I don't think they care anything about cats. I have taken their salesman for rides and I met the owners husband one day. Even with the turbo they have never denied warranty work for me.
